After making a booking/reservation we meet directly at the landing site in our paragliding school in Neustift. Here, you will meet your pilot and get to gondola to the take-off site.
Before the flight, each passenger gets a short instruction from the pilot and the paraglider will be prepared. Then, your pilot will attach himself/herself and you to the paraglider. To take off, we’ll have to walk a few steps.
After landing at the paragliding school, we pack our paraglider and you will receive a personalised diploma and your photos/video if applicable.
Meeting point is at our paragliding school next to the landing site in Neustift. If necessary, we can also agree on a different meeting point.
All our tandem pilots have years of experience in paragliding. They have a medical certificate and registered tandem licenses. Their paragliding equipment is checked and maintained according to all requirements.
During paragliding we have a speed of approximately 35km/h. Choose your clothes depending on temperature und timem of year.
Your clothes should cover your full body, in summer and winter. We suggest you to wear long pants, long jacket, a jumper and a windproof jacket. Ankle-high mountain or hiking boots are the ideal footwear. We can supply you with these.
We give you a helmet. Glasses and sunglasses can be worn during the flight. The pilot has the complete equipment (helmet, harness, paraglider and reserve parachute).
Tandem passengers need to be physically and psycologically in good health and need to be able to withstand normal stress.
The weight should be at least 35 kg and maximum 120 kg. If you weigh in below or above please check with us individually if a flight is possible.
With parental consent children as young as 3 years old can fly with one of our pilots. This is the only age limit we have.
At start and landing the tandem passenger needs to be able to walk a few steps and follow all instructions of the pilot.
Our tandem pilots only fly in good weather conditions.
Due to wind and weather conditions, it is possible, that tandem flights can be cancelled or postponed on short notice. We don’t fly in fog, rain or stron winds due to safety reasons and your booking will be postponed.
